Panama's Private Island Luxury Escape

Panama's Private Island Luxury Escape

Reopens in September

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” — Oscar Wilde

Architect Andres Brenes, best known for designing the world’s sexiest hotel, has created another seductive masterpiece. Within sight of spirited Bocas Town in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, lies an extraordinary Balinese inspired over-the-water getaway, Bocas Bali, which rivals the most breathtaking resorts in the world. Our resort’s charismatic host Scott Dinsmore ensures a warm, unforgettable experience for our guests, who enjoy our rare blend of informal spontaneity in an elegant Caribbean setting.

The Worlds First Aerial Beach

Built Over The Water on Stilts

Step from the expansive boardwalk directly onto Kupu-Kupu beach, featuring the soon-to-be- famous Tipsy Bar. Soak up the sun and the breeze and make sure to experience the pool-like stairway leading to the eternally warm crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean for an afternoon swim.

Water Villas

Our guests enjoy 1,100 square feet of spectacular alfresco living, resting on stilts over the Caribbean Sea. In addition to a private pool and terrace, each villa features a king bed with sumptuous linens and an elegant hand-carved soapstone mural. In traditional Balinese style, artists dedicated over 1,000 hours to carving each villa’s teak wood furnishings.

Dining & Cocktails

Two Restaurants

Your dining experience at The Elephant House and The Coral Café foregoes traditional all-inclusive fare in favor of local, farm-fresh ingredients and regional seafood sourced from Bocas fishermen. Inspired by our on-site greenhouse, our master chef masterminds innovative dishes for every meal.

Things to Do

Swim or snorkel directly from your overwater villa. Or explore the Caribbean waters surrounding our island via kayak or paddleboard. For a secluded snorkeling experience, the small island directly across from the villas hosts breathtaking sea life.

Bocas Bali’s cerulean waters are warm year-round. But if you prefer freshwater over saltwater, our stunning clubhouse pool is a serene spot to sunbathe.

Art and Architectural Design

With Rich Balinese Undertones

A small private island in Bocas Del Toro might be the last place you would expect to experience stunning architecture enhanced by hand carved soap stone murals and a two-ton sugar root natural art piece adorning the marble floored alfresco court. For those that love art – many surprises await.

Protecting our Coral Reefs

We are passionate about preserving the natural beauty of our private island and its waters. Bocas Bali is 100% off the grid. Catchment basins store 55,000 gallons of rainwater to provide all of our purified freshwater needs. And the sun generates our electricity in the form of solar power.
